Excursion For those staying in Luquillo (15-18min drive), Fajardo (10 min drive), or San Juan (hour drive).
I
must admit I was a little nervous going snorkeling with my 7 yr old. I grew up
in the beaches of Dorado and learn to swim before I learned to walk. My son struggles
with water in his face, however He LOVES the ocean. So… My aunt accompanied us
and off we went. Location was easy to find, GPS took us right to meet up
location, Check in was easy, the group was like 80 people… a handful with
little kids.
I
will let the photos speak for themselves, it was a 6-7 hour excursion and we
spend 90% in the water.
Great
food options for most, vegetarian and meat eaters! Cold cuts, cheeses, bread,
fruits, pasta salad, bean salad, & Bread for my picky eater.
Pack
a couple of more snacks if you have a picky little one.
I mean look at this clear Water!!!
My son was cautious to use a snorkel mask provided by team (not having done it before), he started with his own and ended up taking mine! He was Ecstatic when we say a sting ray swim under us. The precaution the staff took with everyone was excellent. I brought my own floaty devise for my son and staff approached me to ask if it was lifeguard approved. He was super nice about it and informed me that what the gave out was safer for my child.
We are returning in February with Friends and excited to go!
